Youth Ministry Hall of Fame
The Youth Vision WA Hall of Fame was introduced at the August 2008 Annual Youth Vision Leaders Retreat at Araluen, Camp Simons.
Brian Stitt was the inaugural recipient.
The purpose of the award recognition is to commemorate the achievements of individuals who have contributed to youth work in WA over a long period, particularly in or through the Churches of Christ movement.
We are not making heroes, in fact to many young leaders these men and women are already heroes, they are markers on the road of serving Christ and building his Church. These 'legends' are milestones from which new leaders draw inspiration and learning. The kind of people who end up here in this Hall of Fame are the type of people who most probably wonder 'why me', they are/were humble people who just got on and did the job that needed to be done - serving God by ministering to young people.
